In more detail

The heart of this historic masseria is of course the 17th-century building. Within it, accommodation consists just 40 elegantly decorated luxury rooms and suites. Featuring whitewashed limestone walls and exposed wooden beams, the hotel maintains its authentic Puglian roots whilst showcasing a more modern Italian charm. Rooms consist of a range of comforts including private verandas with views of either the leafy gardens, Alimini Piccolo Lake or the hotel's swimming pool. Our recommended choice for couples are the Deluxe Sunset rooms or the opulent Limoni Sunset Suite, while families and friends can opt for a more suitable Duplex or Family Room.

The resort has a large adults-only swimming pool set amongst olive trees, and a smaller pool where you can enjoy lunches and aperitifs by the pool, plus a wellness centre offering Spa treatments, meditation and massages. The exclusive Baglioni Spa focuses on treatments inspired by plants and flowers and also features a Finnish sauna, steam bath and sensory shower. The Baglioni Masseria Muzza also offers the perfect setting for yoga; sports enthusiasts can opt for a round of golf on the nearby course at Acaya.

There is a choice of three restaurants at the masseria, all specialising in traditional Puglian cuisine in line with the seasons. Breakfast and light lunches are served in Mirto Restaurant, while the evening offers a choice of gourmet dining at Le Site or sunset aperitifs and typical Salentine dishes at La Limonata. The cusine reflects local traditions, and offers typical Puglian dishes, with fruit and vegetables locally sourced, and fresh fish from the Salento Sea.
