Discover Iceland’s otherworldly beauty as you combine private Superjeep tours with stays at two of the country’s most distinguished properties. You’ll begin with two nights at The Retreat at Blue Lagoon, where stylish, Nordic-chic suites and gourmet dining experiences go hand-in-hand with rejuvenating spa rituals and unlimited access to the steaming, silica-rich waters of Iceland’s most renowned geothermal lagoon. From here, you’ll be picked up for a guided tour of the Reykjanes Peninsula, a region brimming with spectacular volcanic landscapes – from moss-covered lava fields and natural hot springs to boiling mud pots that blister the Earth’s crust. Then, from an elegant, Art Deco-style hotel in the historic centre of Reykjavik, you’ll get a taste of life in the world’s northernmost capital city and enjoy a full day exploring the iconic landmarks of the Golden Circle: Thingvellir National Park, Geysir and the majestic Gullfoss waterfall.
On arrival in Keflavik, a short private transfer will bring you to The Retreat at Blue Lagoon – a luxury resort centered around Iceland’s most iconic geothermal spa. You’ll be staying in a modern, Nordic-chic suite with a complimentary mini bar, Blue Lagoon bathroom amenities and a private terrace with views out towards the surrounding moss-covered lava fields. Throughout your stay here, you’ll also have full use of the Blue Lagoon, the Retreat Spa and the Retreat Lagoon (a separate, more intimate area of the Blue Lagoon, exclusively for Retreat guests). This evening, we highly recommend dining at Moss Restaurant, a Michelin-starred restaurant offering an innovative tasting menu inspired by fresh, seasonal Icelandic ingredients.
Start your morning with a gourmet buffet breakfast, perhaps followed by a yoga session or a short hike among the surrounding lunar-like landscapes. You then have a whole day free to take advantage of everything The Retreat at Blue Lagoon has to offer, including the Blue Lagoon Ritual. After soaking in the steaming, milky-blue waters of the Retreat Lagoon and relaxing in the sauna, you’ll enter the ritual chamber, where you’ll nourish your skin with silica, algae and minerals. Of course, you’ll also have ample time to make the most of the main lagoon and the Retreat Spa, a subterranean sanctuary where you can take shelter in the steam cave, take a lava spring shower and cosy up by the fireplace. Beauty treatments and in-water massages are also available for a supplement. Enjoy lunch at either the Spa Restaurant or the Blue Cafe; later on, savour a delicious dinner at Lava Restaurant, which offers an Icelandic à la carte dining experience within an 800-year-old lava cliff on the west bank of the Blue Lagoon.
Breakfast included
After breakfast, you’ll be picked up for a private Superjeep tour of the Reykjanes Peninsula – a perfect opportunity to discover some of Iceland’s spectacular natural wonders, from hot springs and lava fields to boiling mud pots and cliffs teeming with birdlife. Highlights include Lake Kleifarvatn, Krýsuvík Geothermal Area and the Gunnuhver Hot Springs. You’ll also cross a bridge between the Eurasian and North American tectonic plates and visit Reykjanesviti, Iceland’s oldest lighthouse, before your tour concludes in Reykjavik. Check into your elegant, Art Deco-style hotel in the historic centre, overlooking Austurvöllur square, and enjoy the rest of the day at leisure, taking your pick from the city’s plethora of fabulous restaurants, eclectic food halls and lively bars. If you’re visiting between September and March, you might also be interested in booking a private Northern Lights tour by Superjeep in the evening.

Today, you’ll set off on a private Superjeep tour of the legendary Golden Circle, a region home to several of Iceland’s most iconic landmarks. Along the way, you’ll visit Thingvellir National Park, where the Eurasian and North American tectonic plates diverge along a dramatic rift valley, as well as Geysir Geothermal Area, where the famous Strokkur geyser erupts 15-20 metres into the air every few minutes. You’ll also get up close to the mighty Gullfoss waterfall, which thunders into a deep canyon, leaving a sea of mist (and often a rainbow) in its wake. From here, there’s also the possibility to go snowmobiling on the nearby Langjökull Glacier (for a supplement). You’ll then return to Reykjavik for the final evening of your trip.
