In more detail

Contemporary urbanised chic is the order of the day here, with industrial-style grey-tiled walls, gold-gilded furnishings, floor-to-ceiling windows and walk-in rainforest showers in elegant black marble bathrooms. For something extra special, opt for the River View Suite, home to its original beams in an open plan loft style with a stand-alone bath tub, framed by wonderful Singapore River views. All guests enjoy the use of Bang & Olufsen Bluetooth speakers, custom pillow-top mattresses, eco-certified Ashley & Co bath amenities, a fully-stocked minibar and access to the rooftop infinity pool.

The refinement continues in the gorgeous flagship restaurant Po where, come evening, Singaporean classics are served among intimate lighting and luxe furnishings – plus, children dine free of charge. Evenings are best culminated with one of the Lobby Bar's famous craft cocktails in the stylish exposed brick and black leather setting.

Location is a draw, too, with the iconic three Quays – Robertson, Clarke and Boat – mere steps away, as well as the gleaming boutiques of the famous Orchard Road shopping district. The riverside location is also dotted with myriad dining options, from high-end Michelin-starred restaurants to cosy family eateries and, of course, those iconic hawker markets.
