This itinerary brings together all the highlights of southern Africa. You’ll start in Cape Town, enjoying its natural icons and infectious energy, before moving onto Kruger National Park. It’s one of the world’s greatest safari destinations, with your included Big-Five game drives showcasing everything from lions to leopard. Then, after a pause in Johannesburg, it all ends with the white-sands idyll of Mauritius. And throughout, your route is joined together by included flight hops, private transfers and stays in the most exclusive properties where you’ll be treated to the likes of indulgent half- and full-board dining.
You’ll be pampered before you even arrive, with a complimentary chauffeur transfer to the airport, where you’ll enjoy VIP lounge access before your overnight flight.
On arrival in the “Mother City”, you’ll be met and brought to your luxury waterfront accommodation. Here, a private spa island, elegant rooms and indulgent fine dining restaurants are set to views of the city’s icon – Table Mountain. With three days to explore, you might want to summit its iconic plateau with a cable-car ride, or turn out of the city to visit resident penguin colonies and taste your way through the Winelands.
There are also those famous beaches to enjoy, along with Nelson Mandela’s Robben Island and the city’s vibrant dining scene.
Your flight, bookended by included transfers, will see you east to one of Africa’s great safari parks – Kruger. Here, you’ll not only enjoy twice-daily game drives in search of its Big Five, but you’ll be treated to private-reserve seclusion in Sabi Sands. Indeed, your intimate lodge is set right on the wildlife-animated banks of the Sabie River with the gorgeous views enjoyed throughout, whether you’re relaxing on your room’s private terrace, sipping open-bar drinks by the boma fire or indulging with the full-board fine dining under the stars.
It doesn’t hurt, either, that you’ll have the chance to spot everything from stalking leopards and yawning lions to armoured rhinoceroses and spindly giraffes.
Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner included
Your next flight hop, again bookended by included transfers, will see you to Johannesburg. Here, you’ll enjoy the best of both worlds, with a stay in a luxurious country estate with all of the city’s delights on your doorstep. Expect sculpted gardens, afternoon teas and indulgent spa treatments.
Of course, there’s also Johannesburg to explore, whether you want to visit the moving Apartheid Museum or Soweto – the vibrant township with a country-defining past and artistic present.
A final flight and a pair of included private transfers will see you to your ultra-luxury Mauritius accommodation. Set on its own private peninsula, you’ll enjoy exclusive access to a white-sands beach, with views of the lagoon taken in by your marble-accented room’s private balcony. We’ve also included half-board dining, ranging from steak and seafood grills to sushi bites and delicately spiced local curries.
There’s also plenty for those who want to stay active, with a full range of water-sports complemented by the likes of yoga classes and bike rides in the nearby sugar-cane forests. Of course, you can always soothe any sightseeing aches with the superb spa.
Breakfast & Dinner included
After a final breakfast, a private transfer will see you to the airport for your overnight flight back to the UK. A private chauffeur will again be waiting, this time to see you home.
