Superbly appointed suites are spread across 20 coaches and styled with traditional Edwardian furnishings. The magnificent Royal Suites come with a private lounge area and ensuite bathroom with shower and Victorian-style slipper bath. Deluxe suites have a lounge, shower and WC, while the smaller Pullman Suites have a shower and WC.

Guests can relax and unwind in the observation car as stunningly varied scenery and landscapes pass by, or enjoy the faultless service and five-star gourmet meals in the elegantly appointed dining cars. The highly-skilled Rovos Rail chefs use fresh local ingredients to create traditional dishes complemented by the finest South African wines. Game inspired dishes are a speciality and not to be missed.

Departures are year round and journeys either begin or end in the capital, Pretoria, at the elegant Rovos Rail Station. Guests can connect to some of Southern Africa’s greatest destinations, including the famous attractions of Cape Town, the magnificent scenery and coastline of KwaZulu-Natal, spectacular Victoria Falls and the faraway Tanzanian capital, Dar Es Salaam.
