Having studied modern history at University, Miranda has always had a passion for cultural travel. And, her subsequent adventures have taken her far and wide – from the pretty canals of Venice to the breathtaking mountains of Tibet. Among her many highlights was a camping under the stars in the Australian Outback, and a truly unforgettable journey on board the Golden Eagle, when she travelled the 10,000km from China to Russia without taking a single flight. Closer to home, Miranda’s travels have seen her venture north of the Arctic Circle on several occasions, where she fell in love with the remote beauty of Scandinavia’s landscapes and the seasonal diversity of its myriad attractions. Her must-do experiences include taking the reins to drive a team of huskies, and kayaking under the midnight sun.
