Brought to you by the same people behind the Venice-Simplon-Orient-Express, this luxurious train offers everything from fine dining to traditional bar-car entertainment laced with only the finest Irish whiskeys. Indeed, it’s the ideal introduction to the Emerald Isle as you journey through verdant farmlands and along glorious coastlines to take in the cities of Dublin, Belfast and Waterford. Along the way, you’ll be treated to a programme of expert-led tours, taking in Belfast by taxi cab, exploring the 18th-century Curraghmore House and visiting the world-famous House of Waterford Crystal. We’ve even included a night at Dublin’s The Westbury, one of Ireland’s most luxurious hotels.
Your journey begins with a ferry hop across the Irish Sea from Holyhead to Dublin. "I've visited the Emerald Isle on more than the odd occasion. And, having explored by both car and train, I can safely say that there's no better way to enjoy the country's unique blend of culture, countryside and craic than with a trip aboard the Belmond Grand Hibernian.
