  • A Sloane Street location, between Chelsea and Knightsbridge
  • Stylish rooms and suites, some with city and park views
  • Modern British dining by Adam Handling
  • One of the finest afternoon teas in London
  • A spa suite and privileged access to the exclusive Cadogan Gardens

Opening in early 2019, this latest addition to the Belmond collection promises all the sophistication you’d expect from one of the world’s leading luxury hotel brands. After all, its Sloane Street address has, in previous incarnations, played host to the likes of Lillie Langtry and Oscar Wilde. Indeed, the hotel’s royal suite marks the spot where Wilde was arrested in 1895. What’s more, it’s located in the midst of one of London’s most fashionable districts, with the shopping delights of Knightsbridge and the trendy restaurants and bars of Chelsea right on your doorstep.

In more detail

Step inside and you’ll be treated to Belmond’s signature style, played out in spacious suites, elegant lounges, a British fine-dining restaurant and the indulgences of a boutique spa.

The hotel’s guest rooms are a true home from home, blending classic British charm with a host of modern design touches, all a nod to the hotel’s unique heritage. Think muted colour schemes enhanced with bold flashes of colour and paired with the vibrant flower arrangement and carefully curated works of art. All come with marble bathrooms while suite upgrades add in views across the city and the nearby Cadogan Gardens, to which all guests enjoy privileged access.

Guests will also be able to dine in style at the hotel’s restaurant, headed up by acclaimed chef Adam Handling. Modern, British, seasonal and sustainable will be its raison d’être, with menus promising traditional, regional dishes, reimagined in strikingly contemporary style – always daring, always delicious. The Bar, too, will surely be a highlight of any stay, with its selection of fine wines and premium spirits, British cocktails and cheese and charcuterie boards, while in The Cadogan Tea Lounge, guests will find an afternoon tea to rival the best in London. And that’s not all. At the Terrace Café – part Chelsea cool, part Knightsbridge chic – offers the world’s finest teas and coffees and a tempting selection of freshly baked pastries.
