In more detail

The Hebridean Sky is a petite, all-suite expedition craft built in 1992 and refurbished in 2005. Following an extensive, multi-million dollar facelift in 2016, she is now one of the best small ships in the world and the safest and most comfortable in her class. The ship is known for effortless refinement and impeccable service delivered in a peaceful, relaxed atmosphere and lustrous wood panelling and brass features throughout convey the ambience of a private yacht. There are eight classes of suites on board and each one is spacious, featuring exterior views, a choice of twin or queen beds, a seating area with sofa and armchairs, a flatscreen TV with DVD player, a mini-bar and marbled bathroom with Molton Brown amenities. A number of the suites also include private balconies. The finely decorated public spaces on board include “The Club” lounge where a resident pianist plays periodically throughout the day, and a library and presentation lounge with audio visual facilities. There’s also an exercise room for the energetically-minded, and a medical clinic. The dining on board is superb, with buffet breakfasts followed by à la carte lunches and dinners in the elegant dining room or outdoor café with menus that change daily. Afternoon tea and pre-dinner canapes are served every day in the comfortable lounge or outside on the Lido Deck when the weather permits. The top deck has a furnished observation area and is the perfect place to spot wildlife or catch up with your fellow travellers with a sundowner.
