Days 2 – 4

Osa Peninsula – A hidden eco-paradise

After breakfast, depart San José on a short domestic flight to the Golfo Dulce region; an inlet separating the Osa Peninsula from mainland Costa Rica. Accessible only by boat, your elegant eco‑lodge sits directly on the tranquil waters of Golfo Dulce, backed by more than 1,000 acres of private rainforest. Settle into your spacious room, complete with its own premium plunge pool, and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. Lunch and dinner are included daily, showcasing fresh, locally sourced cuisine.

Although the spa and pool may tempt you to unwind completely, the surrounding primary forest offers remarkable wildlife encounters. Over the next two days, join included guided excursions to spot all four species of Costa Rican monkeys – capuchin, howler, spider and squirrel – along with white‑nosed coatis, deer, peccaries, agoutis, sloths and kinkajous. The forest is also home to five species of cats: jaguars, pumas, ocelots, margays and jaguarondis, though these are rarely seen during daylight hours. Kayaks, paddle boards and snorkelling gear are available throughout your stay, and you can join a signature cocktail class in the afternoon. Speak to our specialists for the full range of activities available.
