Italy entry requirements

  • To enter Italy, and to gain access to most public spaces in the country, you must be fully vaccinated
  • To be considered “fully vaccinated” in Italy, you must have received your final dose of vaccine no more than 180 days before your date of travel
  • The NHS COVID Pass for Travel is accepted to demonstrate vaccination status
  • You must take a PCR test no more than 48 hours before entering Italy or a rapid flow test taken no more than 24 hours before entering Italy. Free NHS tests are not accepted
  • You will need to fill out the online EU Passenger Locator Form which will generate a QR code to be checked prior to departure from the UK and again at Italian border control
